The Anthroposophical Society in America is founded on contemplative research practices and pioneered by Rudolf Steiner, who founded the General Anthroposophical Society. We are the connecting entity for practical work that has been developed in such fields as education, agriculture, medicine, the arts, natural sciences, economics, and more. We are an open association of people interested in nurturing the life of the soul, both in the individual, and in society. Anthroposophy is a discipline of research as well as a path of knowledge, service, personal growth, and social engagement.
